Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Craisin bars

I don't know about you guys but this time of year just puts me in the baking mood! But this recipe just makes the whole house smell like christmas! I am so excited to make these tomorrow!! You can use any other kind of fruit if you do not like raisins or craisins. Craisins are a mix between a raisin and a cranberry! They are super yummy and really good for you!  I also put chocolate chips in mine but you do not have to! That is up to you! But it sure is super yummy with the chocolate chips!

4 cups dried oatmeal (old fashioned or quick cooking)
1 1/2 cup flour
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2tsp salt
3/4-1 cup oil (you can also use applesauce if you don't want to use that much oil)
4 eggs
1 1/2 cup craisins (or Raisins or any other fruit you like)
1 cup chocolate chips

Dump all ingredients in a large mixing bowl
Stir all together until all the ingredients are moistened and well combined
Press onto a 13X9 dish and bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes
Let them cool completely before you try to cut them into squares
You can freeze the bars but they take about 2 hours to thaw but if you are in a hurry you can defrost them in the microwave for about 20-30 seconds!

I really hope that you guys enjoy these bars! They are so good for you and keep you full for a long time! It makes the house smells so good while they are baking! A Happy Tummy's mean a Happy Mommy!!
